Location: Eureka, CAShifts: Full-Time Night Shift / Full-Time Evening Shift / Part Time Day Shift AvailableTrusted Staffe is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our partner medical center in Eureka, CA. In this role, you will employ your intellectual, interpersonal, and technical skills to assist patients of various ages in achieving their maximum health potential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate expertise in a variety of clinical settings.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapy treatments and manage ventilatory support for patients across a spectrum of care areas including Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Child Birth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.Utilize advanced respiratory care techniques to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safety.Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and the use of equipment.Maintain compliance with all organizational policies and regulatory standards.Required QualificationsEducation: Graduate of a program in respiratory therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.LicensureUpon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner LicenseUpon hire: National Provider BLS (American Heart Association)Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS (American Heart Association)Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS (American Heart Association)Experience2 years of full-time, hospital-based acute care experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, with exposure to Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Child Birth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU settings.Current RCPs with certification and relevant experience meet the requirements for this role.Why Join Us?Be part of a compassionate and skilled team dedicated to providing the highest quality of care.Engage in a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and community of Eureka, CA, while making a meaningful impact on patient lives.If you are a passionate Respiratory Care Practitioner looking to advance your career and contribute to patient care in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
