W2 Contract Need Locals Engages with business partners to analyze, design, implement, and update application needs by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques. Utilize Microsoft BI tools (MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2016 and SSIS) to manage the design, development, and implementation of enhancements. Contribute to the technical and operational feasibility of reporting & UI's by creating well designed database solutions. Build action plans and drives execution while working in appropriate partners to achieve objectives. Execute on your abilities to handle multiple and simultaneous activities and priorities while executing application development, enhancements or support for system issues. Demonstrate the ability to interpret business partners' goals and effectively translate technology solutions into appropriate recommendations that exceed the needs of business partners Required Skills 5-7 years' programming experience 5-7 years experience with SQL Server 2008/2012/2016 Strong experience in SSIS Ability to troubleshoot and monitor daily execution and implement minor enhancements supporting a server that provisions data to and from various applications Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work independently yet collaborate effectively with other team members Agile methodology experience highly desirable Application Governance and Deliverable experience also a plus Aptitude for creating scalable solutions with attention to risk and best practices Job Type: Contract Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: New York, NY 10001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: SQL Server: 10 years (Required) SSRS: 6 years (Required) SSIS: 6 years (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10001
