This role introduces employees to core functions in veg, flower, harvest, and trim and is designed to build a strong foundational understanding of the full plant lifecycle.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform basic plant care tasks: transplanting, watering, pruning, and defoliation under supervision Support harvest activities: cutting plants, tagging, weighing, and organizing batches Assist with basic trimming operations including machine trim loading/unloading and tray cycling Participate in room sanitation procedures and maintain clean work areas Follow all safety and biosecurity protocols including PPE usage and movement restrictions Complete required documentation accurately, including plant counts, task logs, and sanitation forms Attend required training sessions and demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to feedbackTraining & Development:Consistent development of skillsParticipating in quarterly department meetingsOwning personal training and development regarding current on product knowledge and policies and procedures and seeking out answers as needed from the ManagerFollowing flawlessly all company Time and Attendance PoliciesControlling & Preventing Loss:Proficient in product protectionMaintain current and up to date knowledge of security procedures and protocols as applicable to position and facilityAssisting in the execution of monthly product and supply inventory audits as neededMaintain current and up to date knowledge Loss Prevention (LP) proceduresMinimum Qualifications:Must be 21 years oldMust possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skillsBeing able to work with a teamHaving organizational skillsHaving decision making skillsNo cannabis experience required; experience in agriculture, horticulture, or manufacturing preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasksStrong attention to detail and adherence to protocolsAble to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periodsPhysical and Environmental Requirements:Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shifts;Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays;Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds;Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day;Ability to stand for extended periods of time;Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs;Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:General office environment;Extended computer usage;Extended phone usage including teleconferences, andWork environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noiseHourly pay for this full-time position is $21.00/hour.
