This position will lead and mentor supervisors to achieve department goals. This position will also collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Operations leadership to service, troubleshoot, repair, modify, specify, and establish preventative maintenance programs for all machinery, equipment, facilities, and powered industrial vehicle (PIV) needs, to support the manufacturing and distribution processes. \nResponsibilities:\nEquipment and Facility Maintenance\n\nDevelop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructure\nOversee equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades\nManage maintenance scheduling to minimize production disruptions\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company standards\n\nTeam Leadership\n\nSupervisor and mentor maintenance technicians and support staff\nCoordinate training programs to enhance team skills and safety awareness\nConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching\nFoster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement\n\nPlanning and Operations\n\nCreate and maintain maintenance budgets, including parts inventory and labor costs\nDevelop work orders, prioritize maintenance requests, and track completion\nCollaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance during optimal windows\nMaintain regulatory compliance for all equipment and systems\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems\nProficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies\nKnowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices\n\nLeadership Ability\n\nProven experience managing and developing maintenance teams\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong problem solving and analytical capabilities\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities\n\nPhysical Requirements and Environment\n\nAbility to walk through manufacturing facilities and climb stairs\nOccasional lifting up to 50 pounds\nComfort working in various environmental conditions\n\nQualifications\n\nAssociates Degree in related technical field, or equivalent work experience, Required\nBachelor's Degree in Maintenance Management, or related field, Preferred\n5 years' experience in a maintenance field with practical experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, powered industrial vehicle (PIV) and/or HVAC maintenance, Required\nPIV License, or ability to obtain within 60 days, Required\nKnowledge of industrial electronic systems, including 480V, 240V and DC voltages and Industrial hydraulics and fluid power\n3D Drawing Software such as CAD or Solidworks\n\nWork Environment:\nThis position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
