This contract role is based in Zebulon, NC and offers a hybrid work schedule.About the RoleThe Project Manager (Contract) - External Warehouse PM & FTZ Overseer will support two critical operational functions at the Zebulon site:End-to-end Project Management for the onboarding, setup, execution, and performance of a local External Warehouse ProviderExpanded oversight and operational management of the Zebulon Site Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)This role partners cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, 3PL providers, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable operations aligned with established SOPs, Global Standards, Quality, Safety, and all applicable legal requirements.ResponsibilitiesExternal Warehouse Project ManagementLead end-to-end onboarding and execution of the External Warehouse providerDevelop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestonesProvide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholdersDesign and implement flow, capacity, and inventory management processes in collaboration with Logistics and 3PL teamsEstablish new ways of working while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, Global Standards, Quality, Safety, and regulatory requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations and material movementForeign Trade Zone (FTZ) OversightExpand oversight and execution of daily FTZ operations at the Zebulon siteDevelop, document, and maintain compliant FTZ processes and workflowsPartner closely with Logistics, Finance, 3PL Warehouse teams, and other stakeholdersEnsure full compliance with FTZ regulations, internal SOPs, Global Standards, and Quality and Safety expectationsSupport audits, documentation, and ongoing operational readiness related to FTZ activitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredRelated experience working with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) or free trade zone operationsStrong project management experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environmentsFluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work onsite 3-4 days per week in Zebulon, NCPreferred SkillsExperience partnering with 3PL providersFamiliarity with pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skillsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and process documentation
