Lumber Yard Associate / Order PullerLocation: South Windsor, CTSchedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PMPay: $19.00 per hourPosition OverviewA growing lumber company in East Windsor, CT is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lumber Yard Associate / Order Puller to join their team. This position is responsible for pulling and preparing customer orders including siding, decking, and other building materials.ResponsibilitiesPull and prepare customer orders for siding, decking, lumber, and other building materialsLoad and unload materials safely and efficientlyAssist with organizing and maintaining yard inventoryOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment (experience preferred)Ensure orders are accurate and ready for pickup or deliveryMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWork as part of a team to keep operations running smoothlyQualificationsPrevious experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or building supply environment preferredForklift experience is a plus (but not required)Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail when pulling ordersPositive attitude and strong work ethicReliable attendance and punctualityWork EnvironmentOutdoor and warehouse environmentFast-paced and physically active roleTeam-oriented workplace
