Job Description
Attendant Care Aide (ATTC)
Reports To: Office Manager
Purpose
To assure client’s needs are met and service plan is followed as written.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, toileting.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens.
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
Assist with meal preparation.
Transport clients and assist with running errands.
Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to the office.
Encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities.
Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
Maintains appropriate communication with the office (written and verbal).
Documents care given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the office manager.
Treats clients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality.
Accepts and fulfills assignments with the Agency. Exercises judgment in accepting assignments.
Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
