We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and eager to contribute to a forward-thinking team.Job Summary: The Cloud and Platform Engineer is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining ScriptPro’s internal and customer-facing production environments. This role focuses on diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues while ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of systems across both on-premises and cloud platforms.This position plays a critical role in supporting hybrid environments by troubleshooting issues across infrastructure, applications, and cloud services. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional capable of working across multiple domains, including servers, networking, cloud platforms, and application support. Working closely with internal teams and external customers, this role contributes to system reliability and continuous improvement through proactive analysis, root cause investigation, and ongoing optimization efforts.Reporting Relationship: Manager, Enterprise ArchitectureShift: General business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. This role may require flexibility based on business needs. This role is primarily performed remotely, though Kansas City Metro employees may have on-campus requirements according to departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.Scope of the Role:Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting customer production environments across cloud and on-premises systemsAnalyze system performance and stability, implementing corrective actions to improve reliabilitySupport and maintain infrastructure including applications, servers, and configurationsPerform remote system configuration, upgrades, and patchingDiagnose issues across physical and virtual environments, including hybrid cloud architecturesCollaborate with internal teams (Applications, Infrastructure, Development) to resolve cross-functional issuesDocument, track, and manage service requests and activities in Siebel with a high level of accuracyContribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement effortsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholdersCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in technical support, systems administration, cloud operations, or a similar IT roleStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills across systems, applications, and networkingRelevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent)Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based development environmentsProficiency with Power Platform technologiesExperience with Artificial Intelligence tools including creating and utilizing custom Copilot Studio agentsKnowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industriesAdvanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and client-server environmentsExperience with Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, monitoring, Entra, Purview, and DefenderExperience with SQL Server troubleshooting and basic database administrationWorking knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, and Systems Center Configuration ManagerFamiliarity with networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and general connectivity conceptsExperience supporting hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)Familiarity with ticketing/service desk systems and SLA-driven support modelsUnderstanding of PHI, PII, and security/compliance frameworks such as HITRUSTPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of the healthcare industry and/or medical insurance billingKnowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with emphasis in outpatient pharmacy practiceFundamental IT Certification (A+, MCITP Windows OS, Network +, etc.)Remote Work Requirements:Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connectionMust have a distraction free home office workspaceMust be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)Benefits:At ScriptPro, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset.
