Job Description Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our privately own dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.DutiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.Perform dental cleanings using appropriate techniques and tools to ensure optimal oral hygiene.Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working closely with the dentist during treatments.Utilize medical imaging systems for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and perform documentation reviews as necessary.Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experiences.Support pediatric dentistry efforts by providing age-appropriate care and education to younger patients.ExperienceCandidates should possess:Proven experience in general dentistry practices, including familiarity with Carestack, Open Dental or similar dental software systems.Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation review processes.Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus but not mandatory.A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations.Join us in making a difference in our patients' lives through exceptional dental care!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $54.00 - $66.00 per hourExpected hours: 8 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: In person
