Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities:Design & develop mfg. processes and related tooling & fixturesDevelop & maintain tool drawings & shop ordersManage assigned techs, temps, and third-party vendors/Consultants as neededPlan & manage projects in a timely fashionSupport company IP through invention & patent applicationsMaintain detailed documentation of concepts, designs, & processesStay updated of medical, technical, & biomedical industry developmentsSupport prototype & pilot production of new products, product changes, & improvementsPerforms V&Vs while supporting the design team with new projectsTroubleshoot Non-Conforming product & assess next stepsPartner with product development teams to resolve mfg. issuesMaintain GMP systemsMaintain detailed & accurate mfg. documentation of procedures, materials records, etc.Support company goals & budgetJob Requirements:BSME or MSME or similar degree5+ years of relevant medical device industry experienceExperience with plastic injection molding & extrusionStrong understanding of machine shop equipment & processesProficiency with CAD software
