Quality Control Inspector
My client who specializes in gear machining is looking for a inspector to join their team!
Day to day duties:
Inspect and evaluate all gear sets and products.
Check technical data.
Prepare audits in compliance with current inspection processes.
Report on all deviations found during the process.
Review all orders, evaluate current information to determine if it is still
valid or if specs have been updated or changed.
Submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain files in a neat and orderly manner.
Other duties/responsibilities that would be assigned by the Manager
from time-to-time.
Exhibit proficiency with GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning &
Tolerancing)
Must have an understanding of NDT, (Non-Destructive Testing) is
preferred.
Prepares routine and complex inspection reports (paper and computer)All other duties and activities as assigned or necessary to support the
Operation
Must Have’s:
Gearing knowledge
Strong communication skills especially in front of customers
Must be proficient with computers. Must be able to use, read and
maintain a variety of measuring equipment (such as micrometers,
calipers, indicators, etc.)
Must be able to read and interpret product drawings
Must have outstanding communication skills to interact with all levels
of Management.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must be self-reliant and responsible.
Must follow all safety requirements.
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required, at times
with little notice.
