Electrical Apprentice

Essential Duties Include The FollowingAlways comply with company safety policiesRepair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power toolsAssemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixturesAttend IEC instruction and maintain passing grades to enhance your skillsStudy and stay updated with current NEC code knowledgePerform other assigned duties with a proactive attitudeQualificationsQualifications:Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Possess the necessary personal tools for the job. (1st year apprentices supplied with hand tools and protective equipment if necessary)Maintain schooling requirements to further your careerBe a mechanically inclined self-starter who is eager to learn and growPhysical RequirementsAble to work off all types of ladders, lifts and elevated platforms (electric or gas powered)Able to work at various heights up to 50 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks, or other safe work areasAble to work in restricted areas, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces and atticsAble to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead Able to carry tools and materials up to 50 pounds from the ground to overheadAble to constantly move on feet, climbing ladders and working overhead Possess good vision (normal or corrected)Able to get to customer job sitesWork Environment: Able to work in all elements, depending on job locations and time of yearThe above statements are intended to reflect the principal duties of the position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
