Finish Carpenter

CARPENTER PCI is looking for talented finish carpenters. Carpenter applicants must have ample experience with construction and all aspects of finish carpentry. PCI is looking for a highly motivated and conscientious individual with a positive attitude. Applicants must have strong communication, literary, and computer skills. Provost Companies is a full service landscape management and construction company that has been servicing the South Shore of Massachusetts for over 16 years. We specialize in professional landscape management, snow & ice management, property management and construction services. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations: Ensure work is being completed safely, on time, within budget, in accordance with the applicable building code and quality expectations, while providing exceptional support to team members. Must have the ability to use carpentry tools and construction equipment. Must be able to read construction plans and building codes. Work directly with the Lead Carpenter, Project Manager and other management staff to uphold company standards and further develop our business. Maintain vehicle and equipment safety standards including daily DOT inspections. Maintain a clean and well maintained job site, truck and trailer. Preferred Qualifications: Prior proven “hands on” experience with carpentry and construction work, including concrete, framing, waterproofing, exterior finish and interior finish carpentry. Prior experience working within a carpentry team. Strong communication and organizational skills. Industry certifications including OSHA and CSL are a bonus. Equipment and vehicle operating experience is a plus but not a requirement. Compensation & Benefit Package: Health & Dental Insurance Strong hourly wage ranging from $30.00 - $45.00 commensurate with experience, knowledge, responsibility and productivity.
