Job Title: DeveloperLocation: Liberty, MissouriType: ContractWork Model: Remote – offsiteHours: 40.0Security Clearance: Not specified in the provided dataOverviewLeave placeholder text here for recruiter to inputResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain applications using Angular (18+ preferred) and .NET technologies, ensuring high-quality code and performance.Lead migration efforts of legacy ASP.NET Web Forms (VB.NET) applications to modern SPA architectures, focusing on incremental modernization rather than greenfield rebuilds.Integrate Angular applications with existing ASP.NET MVC/Razor applications and .NET APIs to ensure seamless functionality.Perform database schema changes and SQL Server operations as needed for migration projects.Develop and implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.Identify, document, and preserve complex business logic embedded within legacy Web Forms applications during modernization processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver phased migration solutions aligned with modernization goals.RequirementsAt least 5 years of Angular development experience (Angular 18+ preferred).Minimum of 5 years of .NET experience, including C# and ASP.NET Core Web API.Experience migrating legacy ASP.NET Web Forms (VB.NET) applications to modern SPA architectures.Proficiency with ASP.NET MVC/Razor and integration with Angular applications.SQL Server expertise, particularly in handling schema changes during migrations.Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end).Strong documentation skills to identify, analyze, and preserve business logic embedded in legacy applications.Ability to work in a hybrid environment with phased modernization and incremental approach.   System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
