Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Driver in Grass Valley, where you’ll make a positive impact one ride at a time! As a part-time driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers , ensuring timely and courteous service, and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your dedication will help create memorable experiences for our community while supporting operational efficiency. Duties Safely operate vehicles including Type I Buses & Vans designated to transport customers. Provide Door to Door services efficiently and carefully, adhering to safety protocols. Assist dispatch with routes and narratives. Assists with elderly passengers and persons with disabilities as required by the Americans with disabilities Act. Promotes positives customer relations; greets customers in a positive tactful courteous manner. Maintains appropriate uniform and presents a professional, neat and clean appearance. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition, checking mechanical aspects such as brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels. Follow assigned routes accurately and efficiently, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions. Maintain clear communication with dispatch or operations teams regarding schedules, delays, or vehicle issues. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies during every trip. Keep detailed records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers courteously and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Support safety initiatives by reporting hazards or incidents promptly and participating in safety training sessions per company policy. Perform other duties as required. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, delivery driving, or similar roles involving route driving and moving goods or people is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes while maintaining punctuality.
