NOTE:NY/NJ or nearby statesHYBRID 3 days onsiteAny VISA except F1 and STEM-OPTCandidates who meet the qualifications will be scheduled for an onsite technical interviewGas/Energy/Electric/Utilities/Oil industry experience is highly preferred by the clientPlease provide a copy of PHOTO IDSenior Salesforce Administrator - ClientNew York, NY (On-site)No H1B and CPTContract: 9 monthsFace 2 FacePosition Overview:Senior Salesforce Administrator (Copado Experience Required)Seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator with strong Copado DevOps experience to support and evolve our Salesforce platform within the Utility and Energy industry.This role is critical to ensuring Salesforce reliably supports customer operations, field services, regulatory processes, and high availability production environments.The ideal consultant has deep Salesforce administration expertise, experience supporting regulated environments, and a strong understanding of release management and change control using Copado.Responsibilities:Salesforce Administration (Utility-Focused):Serve as a Senior Administrator for Salesforce supporting:Energy programs, billing integrations, and service requestsConfigure and Maintain:Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and automation.Custom and standard objects aligned to utility business processes (e.g., service points, work orders, assets, improvement, enhancement).Page layouts, record types, Lightning apps, and mobile configurations.Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security aligned with segregation of duties and compliance requirements.Monitor org health, data volumes, integrations, and system performance.Troubleshoot production issues, bugs, enhancement impacting service, outages, or field operations.Copado & Release Management:Administer and manage Copado DevOps across multiple Salesforce environments.Execute and coordinate deployments across:Developer SandboxesIntegration / QAUATProductionEnforce Copado best practices including:Branching StrategiesPromotion PathsUser Story Lifecycle ManagementCollaborate with developers and QA to resolve deployment conflicts, regression issues, and environment inconsistencies.Support scheduled releases and emergency hotfixes, Enhancement in support of operational continuity.Utility Operations & Compliance:Support Salesforce solutions used in:Customer Account ManagementEnergy efficiency or renewable programs.Regulatory and Audit RequirementsData Security, Access Controls, and Change Management PoliciesMaintain documentation for releases, configuration changes, and compliance reviews.Collaboration & Leadership:Act as a trusted technical partner to:Business StakeholdersIT LeadershipDevelopers and System IntegratorsTranslate utility business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.Mentor junior administrators and promote platform best practices.Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.Required Qualifications:8+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.5+ years strong experience administering and deploying with Copado DevOps.Advanced experience with Salesforce Flows and declarative automation.Experience supporting large, complex, or regulated Salesforce environments.Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data model design.Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201).Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.Copado Fundamentals or Advanced Certification.Experience in utility, energy, or regulated industries.Basic understanding of Salesforce development concepts (Apex, metadata, source control).Technical Skills:Agile AdoptionAgile and DevOps Best PracticesApplication Release ManagementAzure DevOpsCopado (Platform)DevOps / CI / CDSalesforce AdministrationSalesforce Administrator CertificationSalesforce CertificationSenior Salesforce AdministratorPreferred Skills:Senior Salesforce Administrator
