Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller specializing in Sage Intacct to join our dynamic finance team. Duties
Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory standards.
Oversee general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping practices.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently to meet organizational deadlines.
Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and perform cost accounting analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure adherence to SOX controls and maintain robust internal controls for financial processes.
Oversee regulatory reporting requirements for governmental and non-profit organizations.
Manage treasury functions such as cash management, banking relationships, and payroll processing.
Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting software systems, particularly Sage Intacct.
Guide the finance team in technical accounting issues, financial analysis, and compliance with international accounting standards.
Facilitate internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial statements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Extensive experience in corporate accounting with a focus on Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based financial software.
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and regulatory compliance accounting.
Proven expertise in SOX compliance, governmental accounting standards, and non-profit accounting practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage accounting teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, Excel data analysis, financial report writing, and financial concepts such as debits & credits.
Experience with international accounting standards and treasury management is advantageous.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills coupled with effective communication abilities for clear financial reporting.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
