Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our medical wellness spa. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, excellent patient-care abilities, and experience working in fast-paced medical environments. Responsibilities Perform patient intake, including medical histories and vital signs Prepare patients for exams and procedures Assist providers with clinical duties including medication administration and BLS Accurately document patient information in EHR systems Assist with ICD coding and ensure proper documentation Deliver exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Collaborate with healthcare team members to support efficient clinic operations Qualifications 3–5 years of hands-on medical assistant experience required Medical Assistant certification required (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) Experience in hospital, outpatient, urgent care, or specialty clinics preferred Dermatology, emergency medicine, medical-surgical, ICU, or trauma experience a plus Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Proficient in EHR systems and medical documentation BLS certification required Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 34 per week Work Location: In person
