Structured Cabling Project Manager – construction Dallas, TX | Full-Time | On-siteSeeking an experienced Project Manager – Construction to lead the planning and execution of construction projects. This position covers all aspects of construction, requiring a high level of autonomy, independent discretion, and project execution expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesLead RFP development, estimating, and budgetingOversee pre-bid coordination and procurement planningManage all design phases and construction documentsConduct project meetings, distribute minutes, and maintain milestone reportingManage daily field and office operationsReview plans/specs for constructability, schedule, and risk mitigationDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules (including long-lead procurement items)Engage with customers to ensure fulfillment of requirementsCoordinate and supervise design-build contractorsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter expertsOversee physical construction activities and support project executionParticipate in commissioning activitiesManage project closeout and turnover of documentation to the customerSubmit monthly financial reporting including forecasting and cash flowReview contractor billing and validate progress through job walksKeep all project stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycleSupport contract negotiation and vendor managementOversee the RFI, submittal, and change order processEnsure all work meets engineering standards, customer requirements, codes, and specificationsDrive lessons learned, process improvements, cost savings, and schedule optimizationMaintain strong awareness of mission-critical facility operationsEnforce safety standards and jobsite compliance (OSHA knowledge required)Schedule shifts may include nights/weekends based on project needsQualificationsRequired3-5 years of experience managing construction projectsStrong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and schedulesStrong understanding of construction budgets, procurement, and schedulingPreferredOSHA 30-hour certification preferredTechnical SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Leadership ResponsibilitiesThis role may supervise Superintendents, Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, or a combination of related roles.Physical RequirementsAbility to perform jobsite responsibilities including walking active construction sites, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting 10–50 pounds.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and consider all applicants without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
