The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients in the CVICU setting following cardiac surgeries. Monitor and administer medications using advanced technology such as ECMO and CRRT. Perform invasive hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive IV medications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize electronic health records, specifically EPIC, for patient documentation. Oversee circulatory assist devices including IABP, VADs, and Total Artificial Heart.QualificationsActive RN license in Virginia or compact state, in hand at submission. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level I CSICU/CVICU setting. EPIC charting experience without exceptions. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Strong skills in CRRT, ECMO, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
