Java with AJAX Technologies

Overview In this role you will contribute as a senior software professional in a global delivery setting, focusing on Java and JavaScript technologies. You will build and maintain applications using BackboneJS/MarionetteJS/HandlebarsJS, with experience across Angular/Ember/React as needed. You will work with diverse stakeholders to elicit requirements, ensure performance and security, and deliver scalable solutions in insurance-related domains. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality, adoption, and timely delivery. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position shaping ongoing software initiatives in a multinational environment. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Java and JavaScript applicationsLeverage BackboneJS/MarionetteJS/HandlebarsJS and other frameworks as neededWork in a global delivery environment with diverse stakeholdersParticipate in requirements elicitation and analysis for performance, security, availability, and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality softwareUtilize NodeJS-based build tools and modern front-end toolingSupport and contribute to insurance-domain projects Key requirementsAt least 5 years of experience in Java technologiesAt least 4 years’ experience building JavaScript applications with BackboneJS/MarionetteJS/HandlebarsJSExperience with other frameworks (Angular, Ember, React)At least 3 years’ experience with HTML5/CSS3 and responsive designAt least 2 years’ experience with NodeJS build tools (Grunt/Gulp, SASS, Yeoman, NPM/JSPM)Ability to work in a team with diverse stakeholders in a global delivery environmentKnowledge of requirements elicitation and analysis tools (storyboarding, use cases, Agile user stories)Experience in the insurance domainAnalytical and strong communication skillsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education)At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript technologiesStrong analytical thinkingClear communicationTeam collaboration in diverse settingsJavaJavaScriptBackboneJS
