CMM Programmer/Operator - 1st Shift

Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionPay Range: $23/hr - $31/hrBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick time and PTO after 90 days!Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMSummary: Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine to perform dimensional lay-outs for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), internal and customer-requested capability studies, and other measuring requirements. Maintain the Calibration program. Assist in overall conformance to the company policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine with expertise and reasonable speedUnderstand software in use for statistical studies and CAD dataPrepare statistical calculations and reportsUnderstand and be able to continuously improve the Calibration ProgramMaintain the Calibration Program to keep calibrations up-to-datePerform minor in-house calibration schedule so all affected equipment is calibrated on a timely basisPerform capability studies & Gage R&RsPerform a Layered Process AuditsAssist with problem solving and other functions in the Quality DepartmentRequirementsEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills:Intermediate computer skills with Windows based softwarePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
