SCANLINE FLOATER JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-ExemptJOB OVERVIEW:MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect inbound products for obvious defectsCategorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or DamagedTest electronics at a basic level to assess general conditionMove products to the conveyor for the scanners to processRemove the scanned product from the scanning area quicklyMove products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot numberBe responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goalsSweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan areaPerform other tasks as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:Availability to work on-site.
