You'll serve as both a people leader and technical expert, partnering closely with executive leadership to shape strategy and improve outcomes across the department.If you're a proven commercial insurance leader who thrives on building teams, optimizing workflows, and driving growththis is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Account Managers through coaching, performance management, and career developmentSet clear priorities, structured workflows, and measurable performance goalsConduct performance reviews and ongoing progress meetingsFoster a high-performance, collaborative, and sales-driven cultureOversee all servicing, sales support, and account management activitiesDesign and implement workflows that improve efficiency, consistency, and accountabilityMonitor KPIs including renewals, backlog, invoicing accuracy, and workload distributionConduct quality assurance audits and ensure adherence to agency procedures and E&O standardsSupport complex client needs, renewal strategies, and escalated service issuesPartner with producers on account strategy, retention, and growth opportunitiesParticipate in client and prospect presentationsMaintain strong relationships with carrier partners and stay current on market trendsCollaborate with executive leadership to drive revenue growth and profitabilitySupport account rounding, cross-sell initiatives, and new program developmentProvide regular reporting and insights on department performanceContribute to strategic planning and organizational initiativesRequired QualificationsActive Property, Casualty, Life & Health licenses7+ years of commercial insurance experience (agency or risk management)3+ years of leadership experience managing teamsStrong knowledge of commercial lines coverages, underwriting, and agency operationsExperience with agency management systems (AMS); Applied Epic preferredProven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive resultsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate strategically in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreeExperience with Applied EpicIndustry designations such as CIC, CPCU, or ARMCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $115,000 $175,000 + bonus opportunity401(k) with employer match + profit sharingComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life)Generous PTOHybrid flexibility (after 90 days)Professional development and continuing education supportWhy Join?You'll join a growing, forward-thinking agency where leadership has a direct impact on business performance.
