Here at People's Express, we are looking for drivers!Chauffeur License DriverDriver's will transport clients to medical appointments or to personal places like the grocery store. We serve clients that are low-income, disabled, and are senior citizens to keep them independent and an active part of their community. We require a minimum of a chauffeur license. This job requires patience and sensitivity to clients.A People's Express Chauffeur Driver will be operating vehicles of all sizes from cars, minivans, Transit Vans. They will be transporting clients to and from work, medical appointments, shopping trips, and personal events. A driver will be working with all types of people. Most of People's Express' ridership is composed of seniors and people with disabilities. Vehicles are equipped with lifts to accommodate clients who use mobility devices. We have hours that range from 5am to 9pm Monday-Friday with weekend work. We are looking for a team player who is good with people and will enjoy coming to work and helping our clients. We would like people who understand the sensitivity required to work with our clients.Requirements:Chauffeur License Driver REQUIREDA good driving recordRequired to pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening.Holder of a CDL medical card or able to obtain one.Preferable availability of 5 days a week or 40 hours a week.Able to board and secure clients who use mobility devices.Ensure the safety of passengers during transportationJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offPaid trainingShift:Day shiftWork Days:Monday to FridayWeekends as needed
