Job Description: Growth Development Representative (GDR) Reports to: Andrew Johnson, CEO and FounderTime Requirements: Full-time, Exempt. Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. HybridCompensation: $60,000 Base Salary | ~$70,000 Year 1 OTE + Aggressive Milestone BonusesThe MissionShelfAware is disrupting the industrial supply chain with a "Platform as a Service" that finally brings RFID digital supply chain automation to the masses. We operate as a nimble tech upstart inside a stable, family-owned ecosystem with over 40 years of industrial marketplace service.We are not looking for a passive account manager or a "meeting taker." We need a Hunter. You will be the high-velocity engine of our revenue generation and the digital face of our brand. As a Growth Development Representative (GDR) , your goal is simple: Learn the market, utilize AI to create a magnetic brand presence, hunt down raw leads, and ruthlessly fill our pipeline. You will wade through hundreds of data points, face constant "no’s," and keep pushing until you unlock the "yes."The Reality of the RoleThis is a high-activity, high-impact, full-cycle position for someone with a thick skin, high digital fluency, and a powerful motor.The Grind: You will execute a high volume of outbound activity. While you will build a marketing funnel, you are expected to self-source, qualify, engage, and follow up relentlessly.The AI-Native Content Engine: You aren’t just a voice on the phone; you are a digital brand builder. You will execute a time-boxed social selling strategy on LinkedIn and YouTube, leveraging ShelfAware’s Gemini AI to rapidly generate personalized outreach, write blogs, and create video content that ensures the ShelfAware name is everywhere.The Marathon Cycle: Our sales cycle is a consultative marathon (12+ months), guiding traditional industrial suppliers through a digital transformation. You need the internal fire to stay motivated when a massive deal is 10 months away from a closed-loop installation.Duties and ResponsibilitiesHunting & Prospecting: Blast through hundreds of raw leads via virtual meetings, cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to identify the 5% ready to revolutionize their business.Full-Cycle Pipeline Management: Guide prospects seamlessly from "I’ve never heard of you" to running technical demos, managing stakeholder objections, and closing the deal.Content Creation & Social Selling: Act as a "mini-influencer" in the B2B industrial space. Use modern AI software to multiply your output—repurposing whitepapers, posting videos, and driving heavy web traffic to our site.Cross-Functional Coordination: Sit in on complex technical demos with the founding team to master the product. Collaborate with technical operations to ensure sales promises align perfectly with actual engineering timelines, and nurture recently closed accounts through onboarding to secure long-term adoption.Data & CRM Mastery: Maintain meticulous data integrity within our CRM, proactively finding and suggesting opportunities to streamline administrative workflows.Who You AreBold, Fiery, & Optimistic: You aren't afraid to challenge a prospect's status quo or pick up a cold phone. You can write a compelling LinkedIn hook in the morning, leverage AI to analyze supply chain data after lunch, and close a discovery call before calling it a day.Accountable & Coachable: You possess a personal commitment to absolute integrity and transparency, with a strong ability to take direction and constructive feedback from upper management.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.Experience: 2 to 4 years of related sales, outbound marketing, or industrial supply chain experience/training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Business Analytics & Reasoning: Ability to calculate business metrics (proportions, commissions, margins, percentages) and solve practical, concrete variables in a rapidly shifting small-business environment with limited standardization.Compensation & StructureWe know that a 12+ month sales cycle means traditional commissions take time to materialize. We have structured our compensation to reward you aggressively for building a healthy pipeline in Year 1 while offering massive upside as those accounts onboard.Base Salary: $60,000Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$70,000Milestone Pipeline Bonuses (Year 1): * 6-Month Goal: Pass an additional 25 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) = $2,500 Bonus12-Month Goal: Pass an additional 75 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) = $5,000 BonusResiduals (Transitioning fully in Year 2):  $1,050 cash bonus per new client first site installation.BenefitsCompetitive health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), an annual performance bonuses built around a stable 40+ year family-owned business.
