POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the maintenance director with duties in and around our senior living community and grounds as assigned to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the residents, residents and team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are typical for this position and are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Performs routine painting, cleaning, basic repair and upkeep of all grounds, buildings, apartments and equipment in a timely manner. This is an active job in the community that requires frequent walking, bending, lifting and other physical activities: Routine maintenance duties may include fixing and painting walls and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures. Assist with janitorial/housekeeping tasks as needed Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES: High School diploma or GED Technical school education preferred One (1) year maintenance experience preferred (not required) Prefer knowledge of basic technical knowledge (such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance) and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles (not required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Work Location: In person
