We take pride in quality craftsmanship, professionalism on every job site, and building a team that reflects those standards.THE ROLEWe’re looking for an experienced Electrician Foreman who can take ownership of the field. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who has run crews, managed commercial job sites, and knows the trade inside and out — from service panels to switchgear. You’ll be the lead on active job sites, managing the crew, coordinating with GCs and project managers, and making sure every job is completed on time, on budget, and up to code.RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead and manage field crews of 3–8 electricians on commercial and residential projects• Oversee conduit installation (EMT, rigid, PVC), panel work, switchgear, and transformer connections• Read and interpret blueprints, single-line diagrams, and electrical plans• Coordinate daily with ownership, GCs, and project stakeholders• Enforce NEC code compliance and jobsite safety at all times• Track material usage, job progress, and crew productivity• Identify and resolve field issues before they become project delaysWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR• 5+ years of commercial electrical field experience — this is a must• Georgia Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred• Hands-on experience with switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems• Proven track record managing crews and meeting project deadlines• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and OSHA safety standards• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings without supervision• Professional communication — you’ll be the face of 1st Gen on the job siteCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS• Competitive pay based on experience — we pay for skill• Consistent work with a growing pipeline of commercial and government projects• Room to grow as the company scales• Direct working relationship with company ownershipHOW TO APPLYSend your resume and a brief overview of your commercial experience to info@firstgenelectric.com with the subject line: Foreman Application – [Your Name].
