This position is located at our Astria Sunnyside Hospital in the Therapy Department.Shift: Day Shift - 4/10s or 5/8s. More shift information will be provided during interview.What you get to do every day!As the Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for responsible for providing Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment utilizing evidenced-based interventions and reports to the Director of Therapy Service or Director of Rehabilitation Therapies. You will:Evaluates patients and interprets findings to develop an individualized plan of care to meet the needs and goals of the patient per Physician orders.Establishes and implements treatment interventions as guided by best practice and evidence-based theory to achieve treatment goals.Implements treatment programs through direct treatment with patient.Throughout therapy process methodically plans for appropriate discharge once patient goals are met.Performs other duties as assignedCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.RequirementsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy curriculumCurrent Washington State Physical Therapist License or eligibleBasic Life Support certification.Oral and written fluency in the English languagePreferred Qualifications and Education.Bilingual speaking English/SpanishOne year hospital or outpatient experience
