This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable * Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments * Upsell menu items like specialty drinks, desserts, or premium spirits to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales * Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards * Assist with food preparation, cocktail mixing, and beverage service including spirits and wine knowledge * Clear tables, bus tables (bussing), and ensure cleanliness of dining areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines * Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or high-energy nightclub setting * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, drink options, and current promotions to assist guests effectively *Qualifications* * Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues is highly preferred * Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for processing sales transactions * Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities * Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly * Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately * Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes * Food safety certification and knowledge of sanitation standards are required * Experience with food industry standards including food handling, serving etiquette, and guest relations is desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
