This vital role serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key part in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience at our clinic. We're a growing organization committed to delivering exceptional allergy and immunology care-and we're looking for team members who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of others.Location: 8250 Kenwood Road Suite B Cincinatti, OH, 45236Pay Range: Starting pay $19 depending on experience.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage check-in and check-out processes with professionalism, accuracy, and careAnswer incoming calls, address questions and concerns, route calls appropriately, and take messages as neededSchedule appointments and manage provider calendars, including follow-ups and adjustments for delays or changesRegister new patients and maintain accurate demographic, insurance, and financial informationFacilitate smooth patient flow by communicating arrivals, wait times, and updates with clinical staff and providersCollect co-pays and payments at the time of service, including deductibles and outstanding balances; explain billing policies and assist patients as neededMaintain and update patient records through data entry, scanning, faxing, and document managementVerify insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations in preparation for upcoming appointmentsReview billing questions, claims, or denials and gather required information to support resolutionMonitor office supplies, coordinate equipment needs, and support daily administrative operations and special projects as neededQualifications, Education, and Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in a healthcare or medical front office setting strongly preferredExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanorStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesHighly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, etc.) and electronic scheduling or EMR systemsPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staffRegular use of hands and arms to write, type, and operate standard office equipmentOccasional physical activity, including reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, or maintaining balance as neededPerform repetitive tasks such as typing and reaching, including occasional overhead reachingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and carry items weighing up to 25 poundsVisual ability to maintain focus, depth perception, and peripheral awareness in a clinical office environmentWhy Join AllerVie?When you join AllerVie Health, you become part of a purpose-driven team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate allergy care.
