Summary:Responsibilities:Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment Maintains and promotes professionalism Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area Cleans assigned area Cleans and sweeps floors Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms May empty ash trays Disposes of trash May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls, maintain sanitization of restrooms, empty and clean waste receptacles Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces Maintains equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenish supplies and keep simple records of work performed and materials used Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies:Essential: Able to follow instructions, both written and oral Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines Understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management Keeps written records Skills:Essential: Vacuum cleaner, basic equipment, knowledge carpet care Janitorial equipment and supplies Experience:Essential: No prior experience required Education:Essential: High School, GED or Equivalent Credentials:Essential: Pass general background check Standard Driver's License Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position Working Conditions:Essential: Vibration Commercial and residential vacuum Potential exposure to biohazards Potential exposure to cleaning fluids and solvents Risk of electrical shock Potential exposure to fumes Pass pre-employment drug test Gloves Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach Hand-eye coordination, reach and grasp Manual dexterity Constantly lift and or carry up to 10 lbs Frequently lift and or carry up to 25 lbs Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs Moderately strenuous work Standing up to 100% of shift Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception Walking up to 100% of shift Casino Bright and Flashing lights Team-oriented Fast-paced environment High traffic area where people may congregate Be aware of surroundings Must be able to work in close proximity to others Communicate effectively to watch for potential hazards Use of PPE is encouraged with the support of the facility and/or department Use computer up to 25% of shift Work is physically demanding Repetitive motions Sometimes bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach Push/pull heavy carts or equipment of one or more types Listening and hearing ability May work evenings, weekends or holidays Nonessential: May work where cigarette smoking occurs May work in loud or noisy areas Noisy Moving mechanical parts Sometimes work at heights Training *It is the responsibility of each employee to attend required training for their position or profession as determined by their line of support (LOS) or the leadership of the Chickasaw Nation.
