Position Overview: AFURI Ramen+Dumpling is seeking a passionate and skilled craft Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests by crafting innovative and expertly executed cocktails. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to excellence, possesses a keen attention to detail, and is committed to delivering top-notch service. This is a tipped position. Key Responsibilities: Cocktail Creation: Develop and curate a unique and diverse cocktail menu that complements the flavors of our ramen and dumpling offerings. Showcase creativity and innovation while maintaining a balance of classic and contemporary mixology. Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency in every cocktail crafted. Ensure that all beverages meet Afuri's specifications and are served with precision. Ingredients Management: Take responsibility for the freshness, quality, and inventory of all bar ingredients. Regularly assess stock levels and collaborate with management to maintain a well-stocked and organized bar. Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide recommendations based on their taste profiles. Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere while demonstrating a deep knowledge of the beverage menu. Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and emerging spirits. Share this knowledge with the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the bar program. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless coordination between the bar and the dining areas. Foster a collaborative environment that enhances overall guest satisfaction. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards. Regularly clean and maintain bar tools and equipment. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in a high-volume, craft cocktail bar and full service restaurant establishment. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mixology, spirits, and beverage trends. Familiarity with Japanese flavors and cuisine is a plus. Skills: Exceptional cocktail crafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Personality: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
