About the job Litigation AssociateLitigation Associate AttorneyLocation: Dallas, TXCompensation: $365,000 $420,000 (DOE) + Performance-Based BonusOverview:Our client, a leading law firm with a broad and innovative litigation practice, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Dallas litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in state and federal litigation and the ability to work across multiple practice areas in a fast-paced, high-caliber environment.Practice Areas:Our litigation group handles a wide spectrum of matters, including:Oil & Gas / EnergyFiduciary LitigationEmployment LawPrivacy and Data SecurityAntitrustSecurities LitigationKey Responsibilities:Research and draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings for state and federal court matters.Participate in all aspects of discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and document review.Assist with case and client management, ensuring responsive, high-quality service.Contribute to trial preparation, including drafting trial briefs, preparing witnesses, and developing case strategy.Engage in courtroom advocacy at hearings and, where applicable, trials. Preferred Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in Texas or eligible for waiverLaw school class years 2018-2020.District court or appellate court clerkship experience preferred but not required.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Deposition, hearing, and trial experience are beneficial.
