We are currently looking for a Veterinary Technician to join the team. The role of a Veterinary Technician is a true superhero role that we will not let you forget. The value that we see in you is real.We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with team members having a four-day work week. This means no weekends or late-night shifts! Why? Because we truly value a work life balance. While the work we provide is incredibly important and valuable, so are you.Pay Range : rate is based off from experience and certifications but can range from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. This can vary depending on experience.SIGN ON BONUS FOR SURGICAL EXPERIENCE OF $1000.00Core Responsibilities/ SkillsAssisting Veterinarians during examinations and surgical proceduresUnderstanding of medical terminology and productsSafe and fear free animal restraint/handlingAdminister medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.Running lab diagnosticsRadiology techniques (including dental)Phlebotomy skills / catheter placementAppropriate sterilization of hospital and equipmentProvide education for clients through effective communicationAnesthesia monitoring including pre and post opMachine maintenanceAppropriate record keepingLet’s talk about your next opportunity#LI-KC-1At AmeriVet, we’re committed to your growth, development, well-being, and success.
