*Job Title: Sr. Software Automation Developer* *Client: Citi* *Location: Irving, TX OR Tampa, FL* *W2 role (USC & GC)* The Senior Software/Automation Developer is responsible for design and development of automation solutions and improvement of processes and work-flows. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function. Responsibilities: * Identify opportunities for automation through data analysis * Collaborate with the AI team to integrate AI/Client algorithms into JAVA applications. * Implement machine learning models and ensure seamless integration with existing applications. * Categorize and prioritize opportunities through value-add lens * Reduce repetitive tasks and support activities & re-engineer support process where needed * Understand available automation solution/Tools and apply that to relevant use cases * Visualize automation solution and create proof of concept * Collaborate with engineering/architecture practice team to innovate, develop and deploy automation solutions * Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. * Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement * Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users * Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. * Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. To be effective in this role, candidate should possess the following: * 6 + years software development experience * 3+ years of RLM (Release lifecycle Management) using tools like BMC RLM (or) Harness etc. * 3+ years of direct experience working in(hands-on involvement) multi-dimensional development projects/programs with diverse technology stack and global deployments * 3+ years hands-on with CI/CD pipeline * 3+ years hands-on experience in design, development and implementation of automation solutions * 3+ years hands-on experience with Chef, Ansible, Linux & Windows (shell/batch scripting & server management), Java, .Net, LDAP, Active Directory, Oracle/SQL Server database (SQL, backup & recovery) * Familiarity with AI/Client concepts and algorithms. * Experience with data preprocessing, model training and evaluation will be a value add. * Experience in front-end tools, UI design and development (Angular or React) is a plus * Enjoys hands-on programming/scripting work. * Experience using Service Management Software (Service Now). ITSM certification is a plus * Solid experience with Chef and/or Ansible * Working experience in cloud-based technologies and frameworks * Working to deep knowledge of financial products * Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, lead diverse partners toward reasonable recommendations, and prepare decisions in a logical fashion with supporting impact, to aid in timely decision making * Must be a self-starter, effective listener, problem solver and team player. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to understand detailed problem resolution discussions and condense pertinent facts for senior leadership * Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Design, Computer Science, or a related field Job Type: Contract Pay: $70.00 - $83.00 per hour Work Location: In person
