About the Role
MWH is currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to support the concrete & structural packages and lead a team of construction professionals on a critical water treatment plant construction project based out of Gresham, Oregon.
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of a defined concrete construction package on a water treatment plant (WTP) project. This role provides leadership to project engineers, field teams, and subcontractors while ensuring concrete work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents.
Package-Specific Concrete/Structural Scope
Scope may include, but not limited to:
Structural concrete foundations, slabs, walls, and process structures
Formwork, reinforcing steel, embeds and anchor bolt coordination
Clearwells, basins, channels, vaults, and tanks
Mass concrete placements and sequencing
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the concrete package.
Manage concrete subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance.
Oversee budget management, cost forecasting, and change management.
Coordinate concrete activities with civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
Ensure concrete work meets drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Oversee inspections, testing, and punch list completion.
Champion jobsite safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance
Required Experience & Knowledge
7+ years of experience in construction project management or concrete scope leadership.
Manage concrete packages in value of $100+ million
Demonstrated experience managing heavy civil or structural concrete packages.
Strong understanding of concrete construction means and methods.
Experience managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.
Skills & Competencies
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
Financial acumen with strong cost and schedule control skills
Ability to manage complex mechanical scopes in active treatment plant environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CMiC, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems preferred
