Production Supervisor

The purpose of this position is to be the Subject Line specialist for an individual production line, ensure that Quality Standards and Performance Standards are met daily and ensure the proper production input is performed in an accurate and timely manner.Essential FunctionsPrimary activities include but not limited to:Train/Cross train Production Team MembersMaintain Product Quality StandardsAchieve KPI StandardsMinimize Production DowntimeMinimize Production waste Participate in the investigation of Production failures to determine root causeResolve personnel problems among Team membersReport mechanical issues to Maintenance and Production ManagerEnsure compliance with GMP’sEnsure safe working procedures are followedCommunicate with Production Team membersKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesExperience managing all aspects of a production lineAbility to motivate production line team membersExcellent knowledge of computer-based spreadsheets and reportingSelf-starter with the ability to learn quickly and take directionsStrong analysis skillsAbility to work as a team playerExceptional organizational skills, detail-orientedResponsible, dependable, and trustworthyExcellent verbal communication, training, and written skillsAbility to multi-taskSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position manages all employees of the department.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, with the typical hours of work being 80 hours every two weeks, on 2nd shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.
