Title :Database AdministratorJob type: Hybrid (3 days onsite)Location: Columbia, SCDescription:Daily Duties / Responsibilities:Seven or more years in a development or service administration role using the following skills:Oracle Database 11g and 12cDemonstrate knowledge and ability to perform all basic database management and administration skillsDemonstrate practical understanding of ORACLE database physical structure, overall architecture, and database performance analysisStrong background in database planning, scaling, and capacity planning activitiesExperience in database design and data modeling, index creation, database optimization and performance tuningStrong understanding of software development life-cyclesExperience deploying and configuring ORACLE Data Guard, ORACLE Enterprise Manager, ORACLE Automatic Storage Management, ORACLE ACFS, Oracle GoldenGateExperience performing/configuring RMAN backup and recovery5+ years of ORACLE database administration experience5+ years of experience working with development teamsExposure to ITIL / ITSM / Managed Services / DevOps / SOA Operational modelsStrong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsREQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):Bachelors Degree in a technical or business field7+ years of experience in a Development or Service Administration roleExposure to ITIL / ITSM / Managed Services/ DevOps / SOA Operational modelsExperience performing/configuring RMAN backup and recovery5+ years of experience working with development teamsExperience with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Installations, and Oracle RAC
