Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. It is essential in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, providing exceptional patient service, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also be handling all front office responsibilities such as scheduling and phone calls. Experience is highly recommended. The position comes with growth. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services and procedures. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of provider time and resources. Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical histories and managing documentation in compliance with privacy regulations. Assist with insurance verification and processing to facilitate patient access to care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up appointments. Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and preventive care measures as necessary. Experience Previous experience in medical administrative support is highly preferred, ideally within a medical or dental office environment. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike. Proficiency in office software applications to facilitate daily operations. Familiarity with EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar platforms is highly desirable.
