As a Tow Truck Driver on our team, you will be responding to calls from stranded motorists in the area and providing emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and recovering abandoned vehicles. You will also be maintaining excellent documentation of each call, providing basic invoicing to clients, and accepting payments in the field as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with roadside assistance or basic vehicle repair, has driven a tow truck before, and has excellent communication skills. Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.ResponsibilitiesRespond to roadside emergencies within a designated areaProfessionally and accurately assist the client by doing minor repairs, or recovering the vehicle and bringing it to a designated locationMaintain the tow truck and all of your equipment to ensure a safe working environmentMaintain excellent records of calls responded toWrite and present invoices to clients in the field and accept payment as neededQualificationsMust hold the proper license to operate a tow truck in the stateHas a clean driving record and can exhibit safe driving skillsExperience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tireStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skillsImmediate OpeningsFlatbed and Wheel Lift Experience preferred 2 locations (North Hollywood and Glendale)Company has been in business for over 30 years. Great reputation, law enforcement agency contractor.Weekdays and rotating weekendsMaintain safe operation and clean appearance/personal hygiene.Comply with operational policies, procedures and standards, obey state and local driving rules and regulations.Complete invoices, logs sheets and other forms daily.Must be 23 years or over.Must have clean driving record.Bilingual is a plusMust pass live scanMust be able to work 10 hour shifts in all weather conditions. xevrcyc Must be able to lift a minimum if 45-50 lbs.Must have exceptional work ethic.
