Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active Texas physical therapy license or compact privileges valid for Texas required to start the assignment.Minimum 6 months to 1 year of recent clinical experience in physical therapy; experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation preferred.Experience treating a broad range of patients including NICU, ICU, medical/surgical, orthopedics, and inpatient rehab preferred.Comfort with evaluations and treatment planning for both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation populations.Proficiency with common acute and rehab equipment and with Meditech or similar EMR systems preferred.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Willingness to float between acute care and inpatient rehab units as needed. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital.Location: Conroe, TX.Shift Name: Days.Shift Details: Days 08:00-16:00.Unit Type: Acute care and Inpatient Rehabilitation.Patient volumes: Hospital average daily census approximately 230–280; inpatient rehab unit 24 beds.Typical caseload: Approximately 7–8 evaluations per therapist in acute care and 4–5 patients on the inpatient rehab unit.Team composition: Mixed team of PTs and PTAs; multiple full-time PTs and PTAs on staff.
