Let's connect and explore how you can contribute to our mission of whole-person care.Compensation:$45 - $50 hourlyResponsibilities:Ensure client needs are met safely using the therapeutic massage technique that corresponds with their needsMaintain treatment records, monitor client progress, and follow up on their treatment plansRecommend additional products or services that may benefit the clientEvaluate each client's physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatmentCultivate a welcoming work environment by making positive relationships with clients and staffProvide a variety of massage and spa treatments to patients/clientsArrive on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance recordProperly open and close your treatment room each day, and handle room turnoversCommunicate with the Wellness Concierge/Front Desk to ensure that the check-in, check-out, and payment process is completedComplete appropriate SOAP note charting and sign all charts within 24 hoursRegularly participate in marketing efforts to build and maintain client caseloads. This may include attending professional referral groups, social media contributions, newsletter, website, or blog contributions - Up to 2 hours per week of paid timeActively promote VWS treatments, services, and promotionsMaintain professional demeanor, conduct, and hygieneDevelop professional & personalized relationships with regular clients and community membersHandle patient/client questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteouslyMaintain complete confidentiality in all patient/client matters following the company's HIPAA policyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaMust maintain annual continued education, stay current on industry trends and services, and be willing to complete ongoing education in massage therapyRecommend additional products or services that may benefit the clientUse therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired resultsSupport a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship-building and team developmentQualifications:Must have licensure that complies with state and local lawsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh school graduate or equivalentAdequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massageTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
