Maintenance & Engineering ManagerSalary up to $150,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the NE USWe are recruiting a degreed & experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering for a high‑speed, 24/7 paper manufacturing operation.You’ll drive safe, efficient performance of paper machines, finishing systems, and critical utilities while developing a skilled technical team and pushing continuous improvement.As the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, your focus will be:Champion safety and enforce LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor programsLead maintenance and reliability for paper machines and supporting systemsMaximize uptime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenanceUse CMMS to plan and prioritize work aligned with productionGuide mechanics, electricians, and technicians through training and developmentLead outages, shutdowns, and capital projectsProvide mechanical, electrical, and automation technical leadershipControl budgets and manage critical spare parts strategyOversee vendors, OEMs, and contractors for quality and compliance.Minimum requirements for this Maintenance & Engineering Manager’s position:BS Mechanical Engineering preferredMinimum of 8 years in paper industry Leadership experience in a unionized settingStrong knowledge of paper machine systems and reliability practicesExperience with CMMS, PLC/DCS systems, and Lean tools.
