Read on to find out how!What You’re Applying ForEdmunds is looking for a vehicle coordinator to be an integral member of our 40-person editorial team. The right candidate will be trustworthy, unbiased, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The vehicle coordinator role is primarily on-site most days of the week and must work closely with the video, written, and testing teams on vehicle and testing needs. Our ideal candidate can work quickly under pressure and be flexible when juggling assignments. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the largest and most forward-thinking editorial teams in the automotive world.What You’ll DoSupport the written, video and social teams as they create content for Edmunds’ owned channels.Coordinate test days and video days at the Edmunds test trackCoordinate and communicate weekly Edmunds test track needs to all partiesOperate and maintain instrumented testing equipmentManage data collection and interpret data for vehicle testing and content creationManage test vehicle logistics, including deliveries, returns and internal documentation needed to facilitate content generationPerform basic safety checks, such as adjusting tire pressures, torquing lug nuts and checking oilTrack the service needs of the one-year test fleet and coordinate their completion with team members responsible for each vehicleWork with one-year test fleet vehicle coordinators to provide insight for content creationSchedule test vehicle loans from vendors and vehicle manufacturers as neededWrite and create vehicle content for the Edmunds site or Edmunds-owned channels, when applicableHelp manage onsite office and facilities needsWhat You NeedAutomotive knowledge, a passion for carsSome experience writing and/or content creation.Strong project management skillsGreat organization habits and multitasking skills, ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and think proactivelyPersonal reliability and integrity; Your colleagues know they can rely on you in every respect; you model this trait in all that you doAbility to communicate clearly both verbally and in writingEnthusiasm: an ability to juggle multiple projects and kick-start initiatives in a busy work environment is a mustProficient in MS Word and Excel and Google Docs and SheetsExperience with VBOX data loggers is a plusMust be able to lift, carry or move objects up to 55 lbsAbility to spend time in the field and drive regularlyThe compensation range for this position is $58,000 - $67,000 per year. The base pay will take into account internal equity as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
