As an Unarmed Event Security Officer on our team, you will serve a pivotal role in keeping event patrons safe, and cultivating a fun and secure atmosphere in our venues. Responsibilities vary depending on the event/venue, but may include:Securing entry points, conducting bag checks, and performing entry screenings to ensure no unauthorized items or persons enter the venue.Ensuring the safety of patrons by identifying and addressing possible altercations before they occur.Patrolling assigned areas to ensure attendee safety and prevent theft/damage to infrastructure.Providing exceptional customer service by interacting with patrons and answering questions.Handling patron interactions with empathy, enforcing policies with a professional and calm attitude.Collaborating with law enforcement and medical services to resolve any critical safety issues.You must meet the requirements and be able to obtain a Florida Guard Card.What We Offer :Competitive pay: $16 - $18 per hour starting pay, depending on experience and certificationsCultivate your leadership skills, and follow our Internal Career Growth Track.Experience military camaraderie without the B.S., in a structured environment built for your success.Work in a fun and engaging atmosphere.Flexible schedule - work a few events, or work all of them.About You:You love nightlife and live events, and want to be part of creating a fun and safe environment for patrons. Your size, stature, and demeanor naturally diffuse situations, and deter altercations. You have good judgment, strong observational skills, and can operate independently with minimal supervision. You have strong integrity, and do the right thing, even when no one is looking.
