Warehouse Technician Supply StoreWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Technician to join our supply store team. This role involves the management and movement of materials within our warehouse, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all tasks.ResponsibilitiesUtilize material handling equipment for inbound and outbound shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and locating and picking materials within warehouse racks and between locations.Operate assigned material handling equipment safely, ensuring all equipment is inspected and in safe operating condition. Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.Stock and arrange products to ensure efficient warehouse inventory turnover.Conduct cycle counting to determine accurate material quantities.Receive materials into inventory, move materials between designated locations, and locate/pick materials from warehouse locations as required. Ensure accurate data entries for part numbers, quantities, and other fields impacting electronic records.Ensure stable pallet locations, proper pallet heights, and undamaged materials. Avoid leaving materials in aisles.Practice safe material handling techniques and perform housekeeping tasks as assigned.Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required. This role is designated as Safety Sensitive.Essential Skills1+ year of experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift in a warehouse setting.1+ year of experience in material handling, picking, and moving materials around a warehouse.1+ year of experience requiring computer literacy.1+ year of experience performing digital data entry in a warehouse setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating a manlift is a plus.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where your safety and professional growth are prioritized. The role involves physical activity, including lifting and moving materials over 6 feet in height. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with the possibility of overtime and weekend shifts.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Dayton, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
