Shift Lead

Join Preform Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer of plastic products for the packaging industry, as a Shift Lead. We are seeking a dedicated individual to supervise Material Handling and ensure smooth operation of our production lines in Sioux Falls, SD. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of production and offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values excellence. Responsibilities The Shift Lead will work alongside the Material Handlers on the shift to ensure production needs are met Provide direction to Material Handlers to ensure tasks during the shift are prioritized Complete duties such as scanning and moving completed product into inventory, building boxes, monitoring material levels, and completing quality checks Ensure quality audits are being completed twice during each shift Monitor production lines for quality issues and address them promptly Operate forklifts and add materials to machines to maintain production Perform shut-down and start-up of machines/equipment as needed Communicate production issues to management, and make corrections as needed Ensure a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Strong mechanical ability Prior manufacturing experience Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Ability to lift 50 lbs and multitask effectively Compensation Starting wage of $26/hour + differential pay for applicable hours (see details below). Shift differential may vary based upon actual hours worked.
