Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of the following LexisNexis office locations: Dayton, OH; New York City, NY; or Raleigh, NC. We are hiring a Decision Support Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is designed for professionals with 2-5 years’ experience who want to develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and data troubleshooting capabilities in a fast-paced business environment.In this role you will work with real, imperfect data and be expected to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot information to generate reliable, decision-grade insights. You will partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand performance, identify issues, and support better commercial outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to analyze business performance and support decision-makingBuild and maintain components of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelsAnalyze, validate, and troubleshoot financial and operational data across multiple systems and data sourcesInvestigate and resolve data discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing fixesDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics with a focus on accuracy and usabilityPerform variance and root cause analysis to explain drivers of performanceTranslate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approachesDeliver clear, actionable insights (not just reports) that inform business decisionsWork with stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting processes, and automation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field2-5 years of experience in analytics, finance, or a related roleAdvanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)Demonstrated ability to work with large, messy, or incomplete datasetsSolid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environmentsSolid communication skills with the ability to explain analysis clearlyIntellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge data and assumptionsPersistence in solving problems when answers are not immediately clearWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
