Senior Payroll Systems AnalystMortenson is looking for a Senior Payroll Systems Analyst who will be responsible for systems support of our Payroll Operations and Financial Reporting groups. Working with HR, end users, and ITS to resolve issues and put enhancements in place.RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with ITS, Finance, HR, and Operations to implement new software releases, patches, and upgrades to financial systems including design meetings, direct testing, etc.Oversee end-to-end payroll system processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll for all employees, including multi-state and union payrollsLead the implementation and optimization of payroll technology solutions (e.g., UKG, Passport, Oracle HCM, or HCSS), collaborating with IT, HR, and Payroll Operations to enhance automation, user experience, and regulatory complianceAnalyze payroll data and system performance to identify process improvements, troubleshoot complex payroll issues, and ensure alignment with evolving tax, garnishment, and reporting requirementsProvide support, develop, and conduct training to the end-users in the use of our financial and project systemsPartner with ITS, HR, Payroll Operations, and end-users to resolve any system issues quickly and efficientlyDraft requirements documents and develop test scriptsLead in the analysis and recommendations for system enhancements to improve the efficiency of the finance, payroll, HR, and project teamsEffectively work and build relationships across the organization to achieve goals and objectivesAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HRIS, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree.
